XTale!Mettaton is one of the major characters of XTale and Underverse. Although he was created by XTale!Frisk and XTale!Chara themselves, he now serves XGaster and his anguish for souls.

While Mettaton had been considered for the XTale universe for the longest time, he was never compiled to reality for the longest time, and he was discarded by XGaster.

X!Alphys helps XTale!Frisk and XTale!Chara to build mettaton, until X!Frisk presents Mettaton to X!Gaster he seems less impressive about their creation and orders X!Frisk to destroy him, But he refuses to destroy him, XGaster threatens to destroy Mettaton himself and this causes X!Chara to freak out and possessed Mettaton to attack XGaster, Just as mettaton is about to kill XGaster he was eventually killed by X!Alphys who had summon what it appears to be an amalgamate version of X!Undyne.

He has a laser sword that can cut through anything, and extendable arms. Also is capable of turning his arms into guns, as shown in "Who is the most popular video". He can also use rocket boots to go faster.
