Underverse 0.7 is a two-part episode of Underverse. Part 1 released on December 21, 2022, and Part 2 released on October 28, 2023.

Frisk must confront their past actions while dealing with XGaster's machinations, while Ink and Cross find themselves in increasingly troubling situations after meeting up.

On November 25, 2022, the animation for Part 1 was completed. A trailer for Part 1 was shown at UNDEREVENT 2022.

Summary

A report is broadcasted over the radio warning citizens of the original universe that the human army has elected to pursue the suspects of the previous attack. In the city, Undyne volunteers to assist them, and is launched by Greater Dog to their last spotted location. Papyrus and Asgore decide to search for any survivors in the city in the car, while Toriel and Alphys stay behind to treat the injured.

Upon arriving at the communications tower, Undyne encounters XTale!Muffet and her two new pets, which are revealed to be overwritten versions of the original Muffet and her pet. XTale!Mettaton joins the fray, joined by a deactivated Mettaton. He launches an attack after Undyne demands to know what happened to her Mettaton, and she encases him in spears. XTale!Undyne retaliates and fends the original Undyne off so the two can continue XGaster's plan.

XTale!Muffet uses her strung-up webs from across the city to pull all of the souls of the infected citizens to their location, and Mettaton absorbs them all, entering his Overdrive mode. Using this power, he initiates a process XTale!Alphys describes as "global diffusion," shrouding the entire world in XGaster's power. Many eyes are planted around the city, all centering on Frisk, allowing everyone to see Frisk as XGaster plans to reveal the truth behind this specific timeline.

Sans repeats to Frisk through one of the eyes that XGaster had already won, and XGaster tries to prove it by overwriting the timeline, granting every citizen their memories of previous Pacifist, Neutral, and Genocide runs, where they had been previously killed by Frisk. Despite this, the monsters continue fighting against their doppelgangers throughout the city. XTale!Chara tries to fight back against XGaster, but his energy is quickly drained.
