Underverse 0.0 is the first episode of the Underverse series. Starting as a 5-part comic from April 18, 2016 to May 2, 2016, it was later released as one animation on July 5, 2016. As part of the revamp project with Strelok, the episode was revamped with new audio and music from NyxTheShield on February 5, 2018.

Sans first encounters Cross, who's intentions are to replace him in his world so that he could live again. It only gets worse as he takes Sans's half soul.

Summary

Sans finds himself in a strange dimension with another person, and as they explain to him why they're here, Sans tries to kill them when they explain that they're him. Sans nearly gets them badly, but Cross!Chara they explain that they should be with their loved ones.

Their fake mercy, however, tricks Sans, and half of his soul is taken out of surprise. Pronouncing that he'll stay in his world forever, Ink!Sans come up to stop Cross with their plan of taking his universe as theirs, but it wasn't enough to stop them from fleeing with his soul when they explained that they needed a universe.

• Underverse 0.0 is notoriously the shortest Underverse episode, due to its earliest beginnings as a comic.
  • When counting separated animated parts, however, Part 4 of Underverse 0.1 is shorter than this.
