Outertale!Sans is a supporting character in Underverse who originally appeared in Outertale. He made his first appearance in Underverse episode 0.4 but ultimately meets his end when Killer!Sans delivers a fatal slash, leading to his death.

Outer!Sans makes his first appearance sneaking up on Classic Sans, pranking him with a whoopee cushion handshake that fills OuterTale with a loud, comical fart sound. Afterward, Classic explains that he’s searching for someone, and Outer agrees to join him. As they walk, Classic mentions how lucky Outer must be to live in space and constantly see the stars. Outer then shares a bit about what his life is like in the vastness of the cosmos.
While they’re chatting, they stumble upon Nightmare, Killer, and XChara and decide to quietly observe. They watch as Killer attacks an Astigmatism monster, allowing Nightmare to capture its soul to give to XChara. Suddenly, Error appears through a portal, demanding to know where Ink is. Nightmare, unable to sense Ink’s presence because he stopped taking his emotional vials, suggests that Error ask the two witnesses—Outer and Classic.
Error immediately launches his strings toward them. Outer quickly pushes Classic out of the way, encouraging him informing that Classic will never disappoint his people. He teleports to the top of a nearby wall and uses his blaster to destroy Error’s strings, declaring that they never asked themselves to be involved in all the mess that has been happening as Killer lunges at Outer, saying he has no idea who he’s dealing with, and with one swift slash, Killer takes Outer down, ending his life.
